Program of educational and recreational activities to learn about the environment and sea life, awakening a connection with nature in the little ones.
In each workshop we develop a set of observation, manipulation, play, movement and craft activities.

The workshops can be held in the classroom of the educational center or in the Barcelona Fishermen’s Guild.

The workshops can be contracted as a pack to be developed throughout the course.

The sounds of the beach

Where do the objects we find on a beach come from? We stimulate the capacity for observation to discover the beach environment and understand the water cycle.

Go with the flow

What are ocean currents? Why are they created? Our little oceanographers will discover it through experiments and games in motion.

The treasures of the sea

What shapes do living beings have? We will touch preserved marine invertebrates, they will be provided with basic notions of geometry and anatomy.

You can not see me

With games and and using our touch we will get to know the world through the senses of an octopus: touch and sight. Are we really that similar?

Plenty of fish in the sea

Are all fish the same? Do they behave the same? Do they have the same shapes? Through games and using our touch the group will discover the great diversity of fish that exists.

The world of sharks

Have you ever petted a shark? With their touch they will discover the diversity of shapes and behaviors of these fascinating animals and their important role in the sea.

Spring time in the sea

In the sea there are also seasons and spring awakens the marine “forests”! We observe the algae and its small inhabitants.

Who eats who?

All living beings are connected. Through the diversity of mouths of invertebrates and fish we will create a food chain.

Talking whale

How would you communicate under the sea? We explore animal communication underwater and the sound of the largest animals on our planet.

You can take care of the sea

Through different games and observing samples of marine waste and microplastics, we learn that there are different ways to take care of our environment.

Duration: 50 minutes.

Fishermen for a day

Get to know with us the life of the fishermen of Barceloneta and the product they bring to the port every day. We also talk about the big problem we all face: marine litter.
